Background
This hospitality and entertainment company runs large venues across three sites, with gaming, dining and events for thousands of guests a day. Each venue has its own layout, staffing and regulatory requirements, and keeping separate plans and BIAs for each had become unworkable.
Implementation
Battleground provided the software and the consulting. Our team ran BIA sessions at each site and brought 34 BIAs into the system, then helped write three Incident Management Plans that staff open from the Plans module. Incidents are activated and tasks assigned in Incident Management, yearly simulations test each site, and we trained key staff to maintain their own plans.
Results
Staff view and print BCPs linked to current BIA data, and their site emergency plans, from a phone or the web. Annual exercises keep teams ready to coordinate in a real incident, and the company has improved guest safety and compliance and cut downtime across its venues.
