Background
This operator connects road, rail and shipping networks across several regions and deals with everything from operational hazards and supplier dependencies to geopolitical and economic shifts. Risk registers sat in separate spreadsheets, and leaders wanted one system for risk, controls and business continuity.
Implementation
The Risk module now holds a single register, with RAiDAR AI drafting risk descriptions and suggesting management plans. Each risk is linked to its controls, which are assigned, tracked and measured for effectiveness. Ten BIAs, one for each key business unit, feed a single Business Continuity Plan, and executives filter and pivot the data in the built-in reports.
Results
Leaders now see the whole risk picture in one place. RAiDAR AI saves time on new risks and keeps the detail consistent between teams, managers update their own controls, and one BCP replaced ten separate plans. Executives use the reports to act early and keep freight moving.
