At Battleground, passion for business continuity and crisis management isn’t just a job,it’s a way of life. CEO & Founder, Craig Goldberg, describes Battleground Live, Battleground’s award-winning risk & resilience software platform, as “my brain in an app,” reflecting a deep commitment to helping organisations prepare for the unexpected.
So, what does “my brain in an app” really mean? Craig shares, “I’m very, very passionate about the work I do. I’m often reminded that not everyone is as passionate about their job and their work, and that sometimes people actually take a break from work. But that’s not me, because I live and breathe business continuity and crisis management and risk management.”
When Craig started the Battleground journey 11 years ago, everything was about adding value back to the businesses and clients they work with. The tools developed were designed not only to make life easier for the Battleground team, but also for their clients. At the end of the day, Battleground exists to ensure companies are prepared for when things go wrong and are able to respond faster, better, and more productively when they need to respond and recover.
This drive has shaped tools and solutions that make life easier for both the Battleground team and their clients, ensuring companies can respond and recover quickly and effectively when it matters most. The ultimate goal is to add value back to clients, making them better with Battleground and better with all the tools they use

So, I often say that Battleground Live is my brain in an app. And what do I mean by that?
I’m very, very passionate about the work I do. I’m often reminded that not everyone is as passionate about their job and their work, and that sometimes people actually take a break from work. But that’s not me, because I live and breathe business continuity and crisis management and risk management. So why is it my brain in an app?
When I started the Battleground journey 11 years ago, I realized that everything we do is about adding value back to the businesses and the clients that we work with. And when we started to develop the tools that we did, it was twofold. It was one, to make our lives easier, but also to make the clients’ lives easier. At the end of the day, we exist to make sure that companies are prepared for when things go wrong and able to respond faster, better, and more productively when they need to respond and recover.
And that is my goal in the work that we do here at Battleground. Our whole reason for being is to add value back to the clients, to make them better with Battleground and better with all the tools that they use.
